The omniums get underway on day 2 with the first three of six races, and reigning European champions Laura Trott (Great Britain) and Elia Viviani (Italy) will be among the favourites int he women's and men's fields respectively. Also on the agenda are the scratch race and individual sprint for the women, and the individual pursuit and keirin for the men.

The third and final day sees the conclusion of the omniums, the men’s individual sprint and Madison, and the women’s keirin.
