Simon Lock

Freelance writer

Simon has been riding bikes and writing about it since 2012. He started his career in journalism in Future Publishing's sports division, interviewing the likes of Sir Chris Hoy. He has gone on to work for some notable, non-cycling-related publications, including Tes Magazine.

Simon was born in the New Forest and was mountain biking from a young age. He has taken his trusty Croix de Fer on tours across Norway and Patagonia and from Lands End to John o' Groats. Now, however, he spends most of his miles either on his way to/from the office or ferrying his two small children around East London.

Rides: Condor Fratello, Genesis Croix de Fer, Tern Quick Haul Long.
