Biography:
Luke Rowe is a Welsh racer who turned professional with Team Sky as a neo-pro in 2012. His first win came that year at the Tour of Britain, and he raced his first Grand Tour in 2013 at the Vuelta a España. He spent many years supporting the team's Grand Tour riders, from Rigoberto Uran to Chris Froome (2015-2017), Geraint Thomas (2018) and Egan Bernal (2019) at the Tour de France.
Rowe also excels in the Classics, finishing fifth at the Tour of Flanders in 2016 and top 10 in Paris-Roubaix in 2015.
His only victories remain the stage in the Tour of Britain and a stage at the Herald Sun Tour in 2017, but he is a prized domestique and has remained with the team through its transition to Ineos with a contract through 2025.
