The Tour of Alberta returns in 2017 for its fifth anniversary with a four-day UCI 2.1 race that will be based out of Edmonton.
The September 1-4 event will open with a stage that takes place entirely within Jasper National Park. The race will then head back to Edmonton for the final three days with stages that start and finish in the Edmonton Metro area.
Holowesko-Citadel's Robin Carpenter won the 2016 general classification by one second over of Trek-Segafredo's Bauke Mollema, who won the race in 2015.
