At the start of this year, Cyclingnews Labs got its hands on a Chinese aero bike that's caused quite a stir in the industry. The Seka Spear was dubbed the 'fastest all-round road frameset' in its marketing material, and in fairness, it was something of a surprise package in our wind tunnel testing. But, as some parts of the cycling tech community like to remind us very frequently, numbers on a page are, well, just that.
So that's why we've since given the Chinese all-rounder a comprehensive review, with our video review set to go live on Cyclingnews Tech's YouTube channel this Thursday. But as already mentioned, Cyclingnews subscribers get a first look, ahead of the launch date.
Cyclingnews' Senior Tech Writer Will Jones was fortunate enough to ride the Seka Spear in the French Alps, putting it through its paces on the climbs and descents of one of cycling's heartlands.
But for all the Spear's perks, including its top aero data and its value for money against the likes of the Specialized Tarmac, what's the catch? Find out via our in-depth video review below.
