• 

  The peloton in the men's criterium - stage five of the Geelong Tour - make their way along the back straight.

• Darren Rolfe (Fly V Australia) wins the inaugural GMHBA Tour of Geelong after the abandonment of the final stage in Portarlington due to poor weather conditions.
• Richard Lang (far left) of Titans-Race takes out stage two much to the chagrin of Fly V Australia’s David Kemp (far right) and Budget Forklift’s Cameron Jennings (second from right).
• Conditions deteriorated and eventually the final stage and the Victorian Open Road Race Championships were cancelled and postponed respectively.

• This tree in the tour parking-area fell to the ground in the gale force winds that hit the Geelong region on the final day of the tour.
• Flying high: The Fly V Australia team which had three riders in the tour's top five (l-r): Chris Pryor, Hayden Brooks, David Kemp, Henk Vogels (manger), Darren Rolfe,Curtis Gunn and Jonathan Cantwell (absent Scott Davis-injured).
• Stephanie Frawley from New South Wales finished in sixth place, two-and-a-half minutes behind winner Carly Light.
• What's that Skippy, the 2009 GMHBA Tour of Geelong is on it's way, boy we can't miss this".
• Locals cheered on their favourite teams during the inaugural stage of the 2009 GMHBA Tour of Geelong.
• A happy Darren Rolfe (Fly V Australia) will take the tour lead into the fourth stage 28.2 kilometre individual time trial.
• Riders cross a bridge on the 47.7 kilometre circuit around Anakie during stage three of the tour.
