Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic 2019

Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic 2019 - Overview

The WorldTour one-day racing resumes just one week after the end of the Tour de France at the 2019 Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic held on August 4 in London.

RideLondon's 169km race uses much of the same route as the London 2012 Olympic Games road race, heading out of London to the Surrey Hills and back again for a finish on The Mall.

In the 2018 edition of Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic, Pascal Ackermann (Bora-Hansgrohe) crashed mid-race crash but went on to win. The German sprinter out-paced Italians Elia Viviani (Quick-Step Floors) and Giacomo Nizzolo (Trek-Segafredo) in a bunch kick to the finish line on The Mall.
