The UCI has carried out hematocrit controls on six of the teams that will take part in Tirreno-Adriatico. 48 riders from Ceramica Panaria, Acqua & Sapone, Phonak, T-Mobile, Euskaltel-Euskadi, Illes Balears were tested, and all were declared fit to start.
