Like last season, French squad Cofidis will not participate in this year's Driedaagse De Panne-Koksijde (Three Days of De Panne) in an effort to avoid crashes in the lead up to the Ronde Van Vlaanderen (Tour of Flanders) the following Sunday.
"We have found a nice hotel in the Flemish Ardennes and I will hold a training camp there with my riders," said team director Alain Deloeuil to Sporza. "I'm doing it as a precaution, because the three day race is very nervous. I want to avoid losing any of my riders to a fall."
