Jamie worked as MBR's news and features editor from 2008 to 2025. He’s happiest riding anything with knobbly tyres and a suspension fork, and loves towing his kids around the woods. He started out working as a financial journalist, after completing a post-grad in journalism from Cardiff Uni. He swapped fortune for fun though, and joined MBR in 2008 as staff writer. Since then Jamie’s worked on anything and everything mountain biking: testing hundreds of bikes and hundreds more products, from the latest e-bikes to suspension, components and tech.
