On Sunday, 163 men will take to the streets for the 59th Coppa Placci, the national championship for Italian roadies.
Current World Champion Alessandro Ballan, Damiano Cunego, Vincenzo Nibali, Franco Pellizotti, Enrico Gasparotto, Giovanni Visconti and defending champion Filippo Simeoni will be on the start line as favorites in Imola.
The men will race 257km over 11 laps of the circuito dei Tre Monti.
