Tour of Flanders Women - Overview

Olympic champion Anna van der Breggen (Boels Dolmans) won the 2018 Tour of Flanders from a solo breakaway. Amy Pieters (Boels Dolmans) sprinted to second and became the new leader of the UCI Women's WorldTour. Annemiek van Vleuten (Mitchelton-Scott) came in third.

The Tour of Flanders is the most prestigious one-day events on the 2018 Women's WorldTour. Riders lined up at the start-finish line in Oudenaarde on April 1.

The route was 151km and includes five cobblestone sectors and 11 climbs before finishing in Oudenaarde.

Climbs featured in this year's parcours included the Muur-Kapelmuur, Oude Kwaremont and Paterberg before the run-in to the finish line.

Past winners include Coryn Rivera, Lizzie Deignan, Elisa Longo Borghini, Ellen Van Dijk and Marianne Vos.
