Amstel Gold Race Women 2018

Latest News from the Race

World champion Chantal Blaak (Boels Dolmans) won the women's Amstel Gold Race on, taking a three-up sprint ahead of Lucinda Brand (Team Sunweb) and Amanda Spratt (Mitchelton-Scott).

The Amstel Gold Race Women returned in 2018 with the same start and finish as the men. The distance is shorter at 120 kilometres but racing was just as explosive. As a WorldTour race, the top teams were in attendance at the fifth edition of the Amstel Gold Race Women.

Anna van der Breggen (Boels-Dolmans) was a dominant winner last year, going on to claim an unprecedented Ardennes triple. But this time around it was Blaak who continued Boels-Dolmans' success.

It was a hilly parcours that finished on the three 17.8-kilometre circuits that featured the Geulhemmerberg, Bemelerberg and Cauberg climbs. From the top of the Cauberg, there were 1.7 kilometres to the finish line.
