Nash dashes away to victory from Mconneloug
Dombroski takes third less than a minute behind

Katerina Nash (Luna Pro Team) claimed victory after taking the lead on the opening lap, turning the race into one for second place. Mary McConneloug (Kenda-Seven-Notubes) took the silver spot with a long solo effort but was never able to get closer than 10 seconds to Nash.
Amy Dombroski (Richard Sachs-RGM-Radix) and Meredith Miller fought for the podium’s third step, with Dombroski opening a gap in the woods just before the finishing straight. Local favorite Maureen Bruno-Roy (MM Racing-Seven Cycles) beat out Giant Bicycles rider Kelli Emmett and Minuteman Road Club rider Andrea Smith for fifth.
The Verge New England Championship Cyclo-Cross Series continues after a weekend of much needed rest in New Gloucester, ME on October 24.
