Judith Arndt's achievements are very impressive, a long list of victories in the most important women's races all over the globe. Last year she added the women's elite rainbow stripes to her quiver. For 2005 she hits the road for Equipe Nurnberger aboard the latest carbon offering from her bike sponsor Fuji.

Judith rides a stock 54cm Fuji Team Issue Carbon frame and fork, with custom Team Nurnberger paint. The rest of the team's bikes have predominantly black paint schemes with white panels, but to stand out, Judith's bike is the inverse, white with black panels. The frame material is Fuji's C7 carbon and the fork also has all carbon construction save the aluminium fork tips.

Arndt and the team use Shimano Dura-Ace drivetrains, and Arndt's bike is shown here with SRM/Dura Ace cranks. The world champ uses 53/39 rings and 172.5 mm cranks with a 12-25 cassette for the Montreal World Cup race, and Shimano Dura-Ace SPD-SL 'Lance' pedals.

The bar and stem are Ritchey WCS components with a 31.8mm clamp, 40 cm bars and a 12cm stem, while at the other major contact point, Arndt's Selle Italia SLR saddle sits on top of a Fuji carbon seatpost.

One non-Shimano piece is the brake calipers; these are Tektro RX60 carbon calipers running Shimano cork pads for the carbon wheels. Those wheels certainly make an impression: Easton carbon deep section wheels, running Continental Competition 22 tubulars.

Arndt is very particular about her bikes, she is known to always carry a set of Allen keys on her, sometimes the slightest things need some tweaking. Arndt has a history of getting it right.
