Day 6 - March 9

Marvulli and Aeschbach hang on

Swiss pair Franco Marvulli/Alexander Aeschbach have hung on to win the Six Days of Moscow, after a tense and exciting final night. The duo finished just 10 points in front of Dutch Robert Slippens/Danny Stam, who were at one point a whole lap up on the field. However in the final madison, Marvulli/Aeschbach took that lap back, combined with Neuville/Perque and Villa/Chmidt, and thus secured the overall win.

Slippens/Stam had to be content with second place, while Marco Villa/Alexei Chmidt in third gave the Russian fans a podium finish.
