Day 5 - March 8

Marvulli/Aeschbach's lead shrinks

The penultimate night of racing in the Six Days of Moscow saw another tightly fought contest between the top five teams. At the end of the night, Swiss Franco Marvulli/Alexander Aeschbach held onto their position at the top of the table, but their lead has been reduced to just 15 points to Dutch pair Robert Slippens/Danny Stam. Importantly, Slippens/Stam will get a bonus lap when they pass 200 points, meaning that they will hold the outright lead. Other teams still in contention are Neuville/Perque, Villa/Chmidt and (at 1 lap down), Minashkin/Van Zyl, who still have more points than any other team.
