Stage 1 - June 7: Megève - Bron, 231 km

Monday's Stage 1 is the longest stage of this year's Dauphiné Libéré and it looks like one for either the sprinters or a long break. With only two climbs coming in the first half of the stage, Col des Fleuries after 56km and Cote de Peyzieu after 152km, it's mostly downhill towards the finish in Bron on the outskirts of Lyon. Watch for Rabobank's Oscar Freire, FDJeux.com's Baden Cooke or Cofidis' pocket powerhouse Jimmy "Ghost" Casper to take the winner's bouquet in Bron.
