Stage 8 - Saturday, September 3: Tarragona-Lloret de Mar, 189 km
This stage is a dead flat gallop for 189km, with a nice prize at the end that will most likely go to a sprinter, although one of the locals may want in on the act and leave the sprinters to fight over three intermediate sprints along the parcours. Moving further north into Catalunya, riders will be preparing themselves for the next day's ITT as it promises to be a punishing test against the clock.
