Racing returned to Heffron Park, Maroubra NSW on Saturday 17 April 2004, after the Easter break, with over 75 riders registering. New start times were introduced with D and E Grade starting at 2pm and A, B and C Grades at 3pm.

The King of Heffron Park - Anthony Spurgeon (Caravello) powered home to win the 36km A-Grade race followed by Matthew Lucas, Josh Marden and David Rae (Eastern Suburbs).

Richard Scriven (Sydney) and Chris Reynolds broke away in the final lap of B-Grade with Scriven taking the win by 100m. Second place went to Andy Matthews followed by Karl Bellemy.

Laura Bortolozzi (Team FRF Couriers) again rode strongly in the 26-rider 28km C-Grade event. Adam Bradstreet was mid-field at the start of the straight in the last lap and feared being blocked in. In an incredible demonstration of blinding acceleration, Bradstreet went from 40kmh to 60kmh to blast through the bunch to win in a time of 45min 38sec. Minor placings went to Simon Vagg (Sydney) and Craig Blundell (Sydney) and Alan Cohen.

Paul Dimitriou broke away in the 20km D-Grade race with 4 laps to go and didn't look back, easily winning in a time of 33min 59sec. Simon Visor was second followed by Rachel O'Connell (Manly Warringah).

E Grade placings went to Joe Gatt, Grant Roe and James Young.

Junior racing results was a family affair with the Weetmans taking the first three placings in the 8km Handicap race. First was Taylor Weetman followed by Andrew Weetman, Matthew Weetman and Adriano Maradini.
