The Hurricane unleashes his fury

Hello All,

"The Hurricane" Hamish Hayes wins a race that he said he wouldn't even finish; Puivelde was the race the unpredictable Hurricane hit - and he hit it hard!

More wine, sir?

The Hurricane arrived at the team house telling all that he wouldn't finish and will be waving to us from the team bus window - "Hey boys, my knee is sore, my back has pain, I feel bad and I have a few ingrown hairs" said The Hurricane. We now know that when this hogwash comes out of he's mouth he's up for a win!

During the race there were breaks going up the road all day with at least two or three of the CN boys in it. When the winning break went The Hurricane and Sven were there too. The Hurricane got away with four others. The storm was brewing and it was released in the last 3km. The Hurricane was a 53x11 on the CN scale; he put his head down and gave it to himself all the way to the line. Hang on, about 200m from the line he pumped the one-arm cannon in the air to the CN fan club and support crew. Nice job Hurricane! Talk it down all you want - it works. Good results for the team; first, 15th, 22th, 24th and 26th.

Preparation for this weekend is going well; Triptyque Ardennais - three days, four stages. We are all feeling down, sick, tired and fat. This should work well! Hurricane style. The fairy tale of the house of Dwarfs will be short lived I think; we've lost two members. We were out working the fields and mines when upon return there was a head count with two missing. Don't worry, we are having some Bok Therapy [word, sick, beautiful and a deep fry (???)]...Booooff!

It might be time for a new fairy tale...

Today we had a good bonding ride for the team - Worm, Leigh, Sven, Chady and I were present. Nice cool conditions, but this didn't stop the hours been rolled out before a visit to see our Coffee Girl; NICE coffee there! Keep your eyes open, Leigh is back out smashing up the road after doing 3-4 hours a day on the wind trainer for four weeks! He needs a medal for that!

Before I go - I told you about some candid shots from Chady's wedding on the weekend...well I've sent some through. Enjoy!
