Smurfs at a wedding...

Hello All,

It's alive! That's right, the house computer has been given a new heart. So now the stories will come thick and fast. McFry can have his laptop; we've got a pedal-powered PC...YEAH!

House life has been good. Nothing much to report. Bok (Henry) has changed his hair colour to Cosmic Blue. For the first day he looked like a Smurf, he coloured more of his head then hair. Nothing that a little bit of hard scrubbing and loss of skin can't fix. Card games at night are going well, Leigh, the champ of cards, has been getting a few bad hands and lost the last two games - unlucky. Dan and I have set up great suntanning chairs in our room, but the sun is not coming out too much. Krrrrrrh!

Chady's Wedding - this was a chance for the boys to dress up (somewhat) and put plenty of product in the hair to impress all. After all the time it took us to get ready we still looked like characters out of the movie "Usual Suspects." The reception was short and sweet - NICE. In Belgium cycling tradition the wedding party leaves the reception area through a tunnel of bike wheels. That's where we come into it. Some of the boys had a wheelie (haha) hard time holding the wheel above their head for 30 seconds. Pain all over their face, as their massive upper body and arms strained under the pressure. We will have to work on this! The after party was great, with DJ Rudy pumping out some classics that tempted all to dance. In true team spirit we made pigs of ourselves once again with dinner (Bad luck Sebastien, Cody, McFry and Jugs). Some fine beer and wine where used to wash all this down.

The next thing we found our table doing was trying to bounce a coin into a glass of beer. WHY? 'Cos we could! For doing this trick you've got to skoll the whole glass of beer - what a reward. Chady and Bok were the best on ground, or unlucky. Daniel Willems, our Co-Sport director and Legend of the team (148 wins; Tour, Giro - you name it, he raced it) was lucky enough to play this game and win. He put that beer down like it was water! Must have been thirsty from all the dancing...Tom and I were kind enough to take some candid photos for the others.

Great night had by all, and all the best to the new couple, may the future be full of happy days. Krrrrrrrh!

Training has been going well, with some big races coming up! I am looking for some good results, so it's time to fire up and come out of my shell!

There'll be some good race reports soon, so keep your number pinned.

Cycling tip of the week - if you get to the coffee shop after a ride and stand there for five minutes trying to get your helmet off but can't due to numb fingers, it's because the weather is cold, and you should really wear gloves.

All the best - Krrrrrrh!
