Fifty Years in the Making

Ernesto Colnago is celebrating a half-century of building great racing bicycles and the wizard of Cambiago has topped himself once again with his Anniversary model. Presented at the same time as the brand new C-50, Anniversary is no gimmick rig. Created in two personalized versions, Shimano and Campagnolo Anniversary is an elegantly sculpted monocoque, carbon fibre front-triangle, mated to Colnago's trademark B-Stay and High Power carbon rear end and arrayed with personalized components throughout.
Colnago is known for his distinctive paint jobs and decoration schemes, and this C-50 will be perfect for arachnid lovers and Marvel Comics fans.

Maserati MTB

Colnago used the occasion of the Milano show to officially launch his line of Maserati bikes.
Created in collaboration with the prestigious Italian carmaker that's part of the Ferrari group, these Maserati bikes may be available to consumers in a Maserati dealership near you.
Pictured is the wild looking carbon fibre Cortina MTB model.

To reduce your bike to the max, Italian lightweight specialist O.Beltrami puts their Carbotech carbon fibre chainrings on a pair of Storck Power Arms cranks.
Chainrings weigh in at a claimed 167 grams per set, while the cranks are reportedly 315 grams per pair.
Fine Blue Bike

Like Henry Ford, Alfredo Gios will sell you a bike in any colour as long as it is his trademark blue.
Gios has a new retro model frame this year, the vintage Super Record '78, a sweet all-steel replica of the famous Gios-Torino bikes produced from 1978 to 1983.
Available in six sizes, from 50-60cm, and made with custom-made cast lugs and fork crown, Gios claims the weight for a 54cm frame and fork to be 2.575kg.
Jan the Man's Rig

To commemorate Jan Ullrich's superb runner-up ride at this year's Tour de France, Bianchi has released a special edition of its XL Evolution EV4 triple-butted team bike, with special foam reinforced aluminium hyper-alloy tubes and Bianchi RC full celeste and white paint job that echoes the Bianchi team strip.

Some of the most unique mountain bikes at the EICMA Milano show were from Paduano.
With the custom made Caino model, Paduano has mated high-modulus carbon fibre main frame tubes with a titanium rear triangle and integrated patent-pending titanium seat tube assembly, that has a variable height adjustment via spacers.
Measure accurately when you order one though.
Retro Dogs

Artisan cycling shoe maker Marresi had these two models on show in Milano.
The model in the foreground with aeration holes has a nylon sole compatible with all pedal systems, while the non-ventilated version behind is made with no pedal attachment for just walking around.
fi'zi:k in the pink

Available next month, fi'zi:k has successfully built demand for one of the most interesting products in the saddle category in years, Arione.
A long saddle built with Wing Flex technology, Saeco's Gilberto Simoni helped develop the Arione, and then rode it to victory in the 2003 Giro d'Italia.
