Preview

Despite the likelihood of its postponement due to the oil strikes in Venezuela, the Vuelta a Tachira will go ahead as planned between January 10-23. La Vuelta a Tachira has never been suspended since its inception in 1966. However, the current strikes that have lasted over 35 days has meant that the Vuelta has been compromised.

This year's Vuelta al Tachira will cover a total of 1,893.80 km, split into 14 stages. There will be 51 sprints, 26 of which will have bonuses and the remaining 25 will have points
