Stage 4 - February 21: Seaside - San Luis Obispo, 135 mi / 217 km

Stage four is a repeat of the course which defines the Tour of California. Beginning in the coastal town of Seaside, the peloton will head south on scenic Pacific Coast Highway - replete with gorgeous sweeping vistas of Big Sur and the redwood forests which line the coasts, a trip over the famed Bixby Bridge, and ample views of the Pacific Ocean.

At more than 130 miles and with three mountain sprints, Stage four is the longest stage of the race and has proven to be a test for the riders with consistently hilly and technical terrain, and could prove especially treacherous if winter storms blow in from the ocean. The long day will take the riders down the California coastline past Hearst Castle before shifting inland toward the finish line at the intersection of Osos St. and Monterey St. in San Luis Obispo.
