In the tradition of the world's great stage races (in France it's the Champs-Elysées and in Italy it's Milan) the Jacob's Creek Tour Down Under returns to the streets of Adelaide for stage 6.

An estimated 60,000 people saw South Australian Patrick Jonker take out the honors after a frenzied final day of racing in 2004. And Stage 6 remains the same in 2005, with Adelaide's city skyline, River Torrens and leafy Elder Park as a backdrop and competitors fighting it out over 18 laps around the tight 4.5km circuit.

There'll be action aplenty both on and off the track at Elder Park, with food and wine, live entertainment and the Big Screen offering great views of the entire circuit.

Top viewing

  • Montefiore Hill (Laubman & Pank King of the Mountain: laps 10 & 15)
  • King William Rd near Torrens Parade Ground (SA Lotteries Sprint: laps 8 & 12)
  • Elder Park big screen
