Stage 10 - September 13: Alcoi - Xorret de Catí (Castalla-Alicante), 174.5 km

The 175km run from Alcoi to Xorret de Catí starts with a Cat. 3 climb up Alto de Benixama, 60km from the start, and then the Puerto de Biar at kilometer 85. Then the riders take a 20km break before tackling the double-whammy of the Cat 3. Alto de Tibi and Cat. 2 Puerto de la Carrasqueta.

The sprinters then get a third bite at the points for today, before the final climb of the day, the Alto Xorret de Catí, which will always be known in tandem with the name, Jimenez, Jose Maria that is.
