Mayolo Pic Takes Another Win
Tina Mayolo Pic (Diet Rite) continued her winning streak today when she took the win at the Womens Housatonic Classic. The 70 mile course is challenging to say the least and covers a constantly undulating terrain. Whilst Mayolo-Pic admits to "getting dropped" many times on the course, she amazingly had the power at the end to hold of other top sprinters for the win.
After an early break that consisted of Sue Palmer Komar (Genesis Scuba) and Sandy Espeseth (Victory Brewing) the race came into town in tact. Tina, who had the help of her teammates all day, had a perfect lead into the sprint from Kori Kelly (Diet Rite) and came of the wheel with 300 meters to go in front of Laura Van Gilder (Saturn) and Iona Wynter (Genesis Scuba).
"I am really happy with the win", Mayolo Pic said "Once again my teammates did an great job".
