A Podium Girl Gone Bad

Nationality: USA

Last seen during the Tour de France, our little Podium Girl took a small holiday, before popping up in downtown San Francisco.

Your PGGB, my dearies, is in San Francisco for zee famous Grand Prix.

I must have zee leetle peek at zee American Podium Girls. Do zey do zee leetle kiss, kiss, kiss and carry zee purse? Do zey measure up, if you know what I mean? Oh, la la, I see at La Vuelta there are Podium Boys - very handsome! But no kiss, kiss for Beloki! But then I think, Mon Dieu, if anywhere, there will be Podium Boys in San Francisco for sure!

One Who Knows tells me that I should search on Castro Street (named I think for that Fidel fellow) for zee leetle Podium Boys. I had not been there for a minute when a tall, sexy woman approached me. Tres California chic.... She purred in a husky, low voice, “Oh, PGGB, as one woman to another, tell me the secret to becoming a Podium Girl. All my life, I can only think of being a Podium Girl.” My sharp Podium eyes see that she wears a bit too much make-up, hair that is too big and feet that are no way petite in strappy, high heels. I see zee little - how you say it, Adams Apple - bobble in her throat when she talks, and I know zee leetle secret!

She says to me, “Oh my Gawd, we all just love Cipollini’s outfits – that zebra stuff just drives us wild.” I smile – zee big, wicked Podium smile, thinking of Stuart O’Grady or Robbie McEwen next year getting zee leetle kiss, kiss, kiss from a very tall, Cross-Dressing Podium Girl. “Of course, my dearie,” I say, “I will be glad to help you.”
