Dominguez dominates

Ivan Dominguez again stamped his authority on his second adopted home in South Florida. On a one kilometer winding course the early move was started by local mountain professional Stefano Barbero (Mapei) Stefano was then joined by Chris Frederick (Aerospace Engineering) and Mike Zingaro (CycleScience).

After about ten laps of fighting the fierce wind conditions, Elite National Champion Keith Norris (Aerospace) tried to join the breakaway with Ivan Dominguez (Saturn) in tow. After closing the gap minus Norris, Dominguez and the three others lapped the diminishing field.

After rejoining the field halfway through the event Dominguez again attacked the field with only Chris Frederick able to hold his wheel. The pair then lapped the field for a second time at which point Aerospace Engineering took control for most of the remainder of the event. Ivan Dominguez crossed the line at the back of the field for the win with Chris Frederick coming in just behind for the second spot.

Babero beat out Zingaro for third with Frank Travieso(Aerospace) winning the field sprint for fifth and taking the lead in the Florida Point Series competition.
