Studious Palini conquests tricolore

Andrea Palini took the Maglia Tricolore of best Italian junior racer after conquesting the 120-kilometre road race in Bolano. The Otelli rider escaped the group in the final kilometre to win by two seconds over Elia Favilli (Arianna) and Daniele Ratto (Dielle).

"I tried to escape in the last kilometre because everyone was watching each other. I hope this win does well for my future in cycling," said the new winner who is the only one of the three podium finishers still studying at school.
