The 'warm-up' for this afternoon's criterium takes the riders between the sites of two of Tasmanian cycling's landmarks. The towns of Burnie and Latrobe host stages of the island's famous Christmas track carnival series, and today they're seeing off and welcoming Skilled Tour of Tasmania riders on the 85km trip between the two.

With two KOM climbs this stage may be short, but it's likely to be eventful.
