Today was a much easier stage and the riders took advantage of that
for the first hour or so but the race hotted up after 50km. The original
break of 27 riders was brought back with 30km remaining when another
group of 17 including Mick Rogers escaped. They stayed away and a group
of 3 got clear at the finish to win. Mick was 11th and the GC stayed
the same.
