Prologue - January 25: Langkawi - Criterium

G-man wins the prelude

Telekom Malaysia's Graeme Miller (NZ) took out the prologue criterium of the 2000 edition of the Tour de Langkawi. The criterium did not count toward the overall, but many of the race's 149 riders started. In second place was Farm Frites rider, Jan Koerts (Ned) followed by Jan Bratowski (Ger) of the Mercury cycling team. Koerts also won the sprint comptition after winning one of the three sprints on offer, and actually finishing the race.

The race starts for real tomorrow with a 9.2 km time trial around the island of Langkawi.
