Night 4 - January 16, 2000

Martinello and Kappes seem to have the race in their hands, but three pairs are still in contact. Baffi and Villa are closest with a bonus lap waiting as they pass 300 points.

Risi and Betschart are in deep trouble with Betschart's bad knee while McGrory on Sunday night seemed to have recovered from his fall. He even won the last chase with his team mate Madsen and has the podium in sight. Spanish World Champions Llaneras and Galvez won the other chase.
