• Nassau County's September 11th Memorial was the perfect setting for this final race of the MAC Series.
• Laura Van Gilder (C3- Athletes Serving Athletes) takes a deep breath and gets the party started.

• The course included a view of Nassau County’s September 11th Memorial.
• Mid Atlantic Race Leader, Valentin Scherz (Cyfac- Champion Systems Racing Team p/b Revolution) keeps his title, despite a third place finish.
• Unsigned and unattached, Chris Hurst has to rely on his lucky argyle socks to take him through the race. He finished in second place today - perhaps next race he'll have some writing on his jersey?
• Van Gilder (C3- Athletes Serving Athletes) looks fierce as she flies up the stairs.
• Laura Van Gilder (C3 - Athletes Serving Athletes) cuts through the landscape like butter- showing why she has been the consistent leader all season.
• A very intense Andrew Crooks (NYC Velo) concentrates on the stairs.
• Unattached Wisconsin rider Chris Hurst, gets a taste of East Coast racing.
• Nicholas Keough (Champion System p/b Keough Cyclocross) jumps the fence to the start the last lap.
• Luke Keough (Champion System p/b Keough Cyclocross) shows his jet-stream form.
• Beth Renaud (CRCA/Comedy Central-Sid’s Bikes) gives this course her best.
• Kaitlyn Lawrence (C3 - Athletes Serving Athletes) does what she can for the team.
