Pearce and Holloway extend overall lead

The American pair of Colby Pearce and Daniel Holloway continue to lead the overall standings after the second day of racing at the Saputo Burnaby 4. Pearce and Holloway won one of the four Madisons on tap for the day's racing schedule and were runners-up in two others en route to scoring 118 points.

Canadian's Svein Tuft and Zach Bell moved from third to second place overall and are one lap down on the leaders with 83 points. American Madison champions Ian Moir and Danny Heeley, with 44 points, jumped from sixth to third by being the only other team to remain one lap off the pace of Pearce and Holloway.

Americans Jackie Simes and Bobby Lea have the second highest points tally with 97 points, but fell from second to fourth having dropped an additional lap to two laps off the pace.

Sarah Hammer won two of three events to remain atop the women's leader board with 117 points after two days of racing. Hammer claimed the Antioquena and 100 lap Points Race while Canada's Tara Whitten stopped Hammer's win streak to top the 75 lap Scratch Race.

Whitten remains in second place overall, 20 points down on Hammer, while Switzerland's Pascale Schnider also retained her third place position with 91 points, six behind Whitten.
