Trek's intriguing 69er. Motocross bikes have used
differing wheel sizes for years, but attempts to bring the idea across to
mountain bikes - such as Cannondale's 24in rear wheels of the 1980s - flopped.
Trek is looking to succeed where others have failed with the new 69er, sporting
a conventional 26in rear wheel and a monster truck-scale 29er front wheel.
