Fun stuff at the World Championships

Photo gallery by Mitch Friedman Photography

This year at the World's there was a little village hidden away from the course so that if and when people found it, they could get to see some of the sponsors booths. That wasn't all...

At the EnneGi Studio, there was a gallery of cycling paintings called the Annuario D'Arte Moderna by Pino Faraca. Also on hand were old bikes that were used to help people out at the city centre's markets. There were bikes that you could sharpen your knifes or axes or scissors on, bikes you could cook on, and there was also a wooden bike, perhaps not suited for a cobbled classic, and a kids Coppi. All of them came from the Museo dei Campionissimi Novi Ligure. Colnago had a very cool looking Carbon Track Bike out.

Liquigas and Berner had their PR girls manning their booths, and how can we leave out the Local Polizia. Maria Laura had many, many people wishing she would take them away and question them...
