The ex-Cofidis man is currently teamless after aligning himself with Giancarlo Ferretti's nebulous Sony-Ericsson squadra.
Unibet.com has already signed Spaniards Carlos Garcia Quesada (ex-Comunidad Valenciana, 5th in the Vuelta this year) and Luis Pasamontes (Relax-Fuenlabrada, 20th in the 2004 Vuelta) and Italian Marco Serpellini (Gerolsteiner).
