Ivan Basso may have confessed to being involved in the Operación Puerto doping scandal, but don't expect Jan Ullrich to follow suit.
"What should he confess?" asked Peter-Michael Diestel, one of Ullrich's six attorneys, to the dpa press agency. "Ullrich didn't have an affair or otherwise behave wrong. What Basso does is his business."
Diestel said that further developments would depend on those investigating Ullrich. "If charges should be filed, then we will react," he said.
