Saturday sees the start of the five-event Trek Ladies Road Cycling Series in Albert Bishop Park in Nundah, Queensland. Each event begins with "Come and Try Session" at 11 am for all women interested in trying their hand at road racing. Experienced coaches will cover topics such as bike set up and basic road cycling skills.
Racing will commence at 1 pm in a criterium format and will include four divisions with up to 80 women, catering to both the experienced and the new rider. For more information, contact Haylie Lack at haylie.lack@cycling.org.au.
