Norwegian Frederik Wilmann will make the jump from Joker-Bianchi to Professional Continental Skil-Shimano for the 2010 season.

Wilmann, 24, won the French Mi-Août Bretonne stage race in August and a stage of the Tour Alsace in July racing for Norway's Joker-Bianchi team. The team has a Continental, third division, licence, but Dutch Skil-Shimano is the next division up and raced in the Tour de France this year.

Wilmann's father, Jostein Wilmann, was a professional cyclist. He was the first and only Norwegian to win the Tour de Romandie and Setmana Catalana in 1982.
