Bouet to AG2R La Mondiale

Young French talent Maxime Bouet will move to ProTour team, AG2R La Mondiale, at the end of the 2009 season. The ProTour squad has announced that 22-year-old rider from has signed a two-year contract that will see him race for the squad until the end of 2011.

Bouet, who currently races for pro continental team Agritubel, has already won five professional races since becoming a neo-pro in 2008. He won a stage and claimed the overall classification at Portugal's Volta a Alentejo in April.

Bouet will race for Agritubel at this year's Tour de France. He is one of three riders confirmed by the team for the race that begins in Monaco on July 4.

The title sponsor of Agritubel, a manufacturer of agricultural equipment, announced in March that it will end its sponsorship of the team at the end of the current season.
