The UCI announced the teams that have fulfilled the paperwork necessary to become fully-registered UCI Trade Teams for 2006. Surprisingly, the list only contains six team names:

PRT, Pro Race Team, FRA
MOJ, Mojo Suspension, GBR
TAG, Team Alb-Gold Mountainbike, GER
BPT, Team Bikesport.ch Tui, SUI
