Polish rider Slawomir Kohut (Team Miche) is now in a serious, but stable condition following his training accident with a car last week. Kohut briefly regained consciousness on Friday, although he was still suffering from bad headaches and doctors opted to place him back in a medically induced coma.
In the meantime, Team Miche director Marco Tozzi is trying to obtain doctors' permission to take Slawomir back to Italy, in order to consult with an Italian doctor for a surgical operation, if it is deemed necessary.
