Jaksche under investigation for fraud

Jörg Jaksche is the next German pro cyclist to come under investigation by German authorities, according to the Süddeutsche Zeitung, which says that the public attorneys in Ansbach, Germany, are investigating the Team Tinkoff rider, who lives in Kitzbühel, Austria.

The newspaper says that the investigation is on the suspicion of having defrauded race organizers. The Bundeskriminalamt (federal police) asked the Bavarian law enforcement agency to conduct the investigation after repeatedly running across Jaksche's name in the Operación Puerto documents, it claimed.
