Garmin-Slipstream gets juiced up

The Garmin-Slipstream team announced Monday that it has added juice maker POM Wonderful to its list of sponsors.

POM Wonderful is the largest U.S. grower of the Wonderful variety of pomegranates and maker of 100% pomegranate juice. As part of the sponsorship, the sponsor will provide the team's riders with the antioxidant-rich POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice and POMx, the antioxidant super-extract.

In addition, POM Wonderful and Team Garmin-Slipstream will partner to pursue ground-breaking sports physiology research on the health benefits of POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice as it pertains to recovery, combating oxidative stress and inflammation in an intense athletic context.
