The Euskaltel-Euskadi ProTour team signed Spanish rider Jon Bru for the 2007 season. Bru was born in the Basque town of Bera de Bidasoa, in 1977, and has earned five victories during his professional career after turning pro in 2002 with the Portuguese squad LA-Pecol. After riding for three years with LA-Pecol, Bru rode for Kaiku.
