Injured cyclist Christophe Brandt (Davitamon-Lotto) has recovered enough to be taken to a different hospital in Belgium, closer to his family and friends. Brandt's injuries are healing well and he will be transferred to Liège soon, where he will stay in intensive care for a couple of days. Team manager Marc Sergeant, who has visited Brandt in the Jan Palfijn hospital in Merksem, has announced that if all goes well, the rider will be sent home within ten days.
